Reserved pricing is a flat percentage cut with no fine print. We compared three vendors and the math here was cleanest.

The support engineer stayed on a screen share until our replication lag cleared. That is not the norm in this industry.

Snapshot restores are fast enough that we test them monthly. A 4 TB volume came back in 22 minutes to the same region.

Good value once you commit to reserved capacity. On-demand rates are middle of the pack, and the docs assume more networking knowledge than most teams have.

Object storage is cheap until you need it fast. A cold restore took 14 hours — twice the documented window — with vague status updates.
